Central Ohio Transit Authority (COTA)

This project included new construction and renovations at COTA’s McKinley Avenue Bus Maintenance Facility. This 400,000 sq. ft. McKinley Avenue bus storage and maintenance facility, built in 1980, has indoor storage capacity for 240 large 40’ buses. Both heavy and light maintenance are performed at this location.

This project includes the construction of a new employee dayroom, wellness/workout room and other amenities for COTA employees, as well as other interior and exterior improvements. The new Operator Day Room includes offices, a wellness/workout room, quiet area/nap room and security. Administrative area updates include interior renovations, new HVAC & lighting, and a new IT server. The project also included building exterior renovations and intersection improvements at Grandview and Central Avenues.
